IMPORTANT TIPS
a) The range hood can be installed at a height of 24 to 32 inches above the stove. However, increasing the clearance significantly reduces efficiency. We recommend installing it at no more than 27 inches for optimal performance.
b) A 6-inch diameter duct is mandatory to achieve optimal performance. Connecting the hood to a 5-inch or 4-inch duct will significantly reduce efficiency (or may result in near-zero performance) and can cause air backdraft and increased noise levels.
c) Longer duct runs reduce efficiency. In many condominiums, duct lengths are considerably longer, which can severely affect performance.
d) The range hood includes both 6-inch round and rectangular adapters. However, a straight 6-inch round duct provides better efficiency than a rectangular duct.
